Our vision is a Somalia where peace prevails, democracy flourishes, and every citizen enjoys the benefits of sustainable development. We strive for a nation free from corruption, conflict, and poverty, where the rule of law is upheld, and human rights are respected.

Leadership

Under the leadership of Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, also known as Farmaajo, the Nabad iyo Nolol Party has made significant strides in improving the political and economic landscape of Somalia. Farmaajo’s administration has been instrumental in achieving debt relief for Somalia, reforming the military, and enhancing transparency and governance.

Achievements

Debt Relief and Economic Reform

Under the leadership of President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo, Somalia secured debt relief, enabling the country to access international financial markets and receive loans from institutions like the World Bank and IMF. This milestone is crucial for Somalia’s economic recovery and development projects, such as the construction of a 6,000-kilometer road network connecting major economic corridors.

Security Improvements

The Farmaajo administration made substantial progress in combating terrorism and enhancing national security. Large territories previously controlled by al-Shabaab were reclaimed, and the Somali Armed Forces were reformed, with significant support from international partners like Turkey. This led to a notable reduction in al-Shabaab’s control over Somali territory.

Anti-Corruption Efforts

The government implemented biometric scanning for soldiers to eliminate ghost soldiers from the payroll, resulting in significant budget savings. Additionally, the administration standardized national income and tax collection, contributing to increased revenue and economic stability.

International Relations

The party’s leadership strengthened Somalia’s diplomatic ties with neighboring countries and the international community, hosting numerous conferences and state visits. These efforts have improved Somalia’s global standing and attracted international support for various development initiatives.

Social and Infrastructure Development

The Nabad iyo Nolol Party initiated various infrastructure projects, including the reconstruction of the National Theater, Museum, Library, and Mogadishu International Stadium. Efforts were also made to standardize the national curriculum and provide scholarships for Somali students.
